James David Phillips passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024. He was born in Columbus, OH on December 30, 1959, to the late Gary and Fran Phillips. Jim graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration, as a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan he always could be found cheering them on, as well as any other sport he could find. In his free time he enjoyed watching the sunset and the wildlife around him from the comfort of his own front porch.

He is preceded in death by parents and brother, Lenny Phillips. He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Arlene Phillips; daughter, Laura (Nick) Garcia; brothers, Pete (Helen) Phillips, Dan "Debo" (Cathy) Phillips, Eddie Phillips, Luke Phillips; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
