James M. Ryan, age 72, passed away August 23, 2014. Born February 16, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio. Attended Marion Franklin High School and owned Possum Holler Pizza. He is preceded in death by parents, Archie and Thelma Ryan; brother, Archie Jr.; sisters, Margaret Woodard, Virginia Gillespie and Leola Helen Ryan; sister-in-law, Stollie Ryan; grandson, "Jimbob" Bobst; and niece, Gina Guess. Jim is survived by his wife, Stellie Ryan; children, Lisa (Lance) Caserta, Jimmy Ryan, Marty (Shelley) Ryan, Bill (Elisabeth) Ryan and Cassie Ryan; grandchildren, Lisa (Kevin) Gleich, Andy Ryan and Zach Ryan; great grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia, Harmony, Hailey and Skylar; brothers, Steve Ryan and Bill (Mary) Ryan; special niece, Roni (Denny) Leport and her children, Chelsea and Hunter; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim was defined by his love of his family, George Jones, friends, and Lincoln Town Cars and will be forever missed. Visitation will be held Monday, August 25, from 3 to 7 p.m. at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main St. Groveport where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Dr. William Snider officiating.
