James Harold Weston

August 10, 1954 - April 27, 2025

James Harold Weston, 70, from Tyrone, Pennsylvania, and resident of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on April 27, 2025. Born on August 10, 1954, in California, James was the son of Leeland Weston and Dolores (Cornthwaite) Weston. He proudly served his country as a Marine and earned the title of "Jarhead"—a title he wore with honor throughout his life.

Jim was a passionate golfer, and even after retirement, he found joy on the green. He also had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed traveling, often with family by his side. In his free time, he could be found renovating his home, putting his personal touch on every project with care and dedication.

Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Martha Weston; his children, Alan (Tina) Dicks, Kristi Williams, and Monica Haskett; and his cherished grandchildren, Izabella, Angelina, Elizabeth, Juliette, Nolan, Samuel, and Eva. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy (Alan) Carper, LeAnn (Barry) Anderson, and Gini Sessamen.

A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home in Reynoldsburg on Thursday, May 1, from 11:00 AM to the time of service at 1 PM. Following the service, Jim will be laid to rest at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg.

Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of service, love, and joy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
