James Edgar Williams, age 70, of Canal Winchester passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 2, 2016. U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the SubVets in Columbus. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Lancaster Community Band. Retired from the Limited Brands. Preceded in death by parents, James Frederick and Vivian Williams. Survived by his loving wife, Elaine; son, Robert (Heather) Flanagan; sister, Gwen Williams (Gary Morrison); 1 niece and 1 great niece. A memorial service to be held in his home town of Sistersville, WV on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 am. at Friendly Cemetery. Family requests donations in James' memory to be made to a hospice organization of your choice.
