Jamie Lee Goudy, age 43, of Etna, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Mount Carmel East Hospital after a brave struggle with cancer. She was born on March 2, 1981, in Lima, Ohio, to Barbara Lee (Boehringer) and Jay Paul Norton. She attended and graduated from Wapakoneta High School and later gained her BA in Accounting from Liberty University. Jamie married William Goudy on October 30. 2001. She was the Membership and Marketing Director for the Buckeye Valley YMCA.

Jamie is preceded in death by her mother Barbara, and is survived by her husband Bill Goudy, daughter Kieran LeeAnn Goudy, sister Amy Norton (Lukas Lehmann), father Jay Norton (Carol), stepbrother Devin Boehringer, as well as an aunt and numerous uncles, cousins, and friends--and four very spoiled cats.

She was an avid runner, completing many marathons including ultra-marathons and the Boston Marathon on two occasions. Throughout her career and volunteer activities, she was always determined, caring, and visionary, whether operating her herbal shop or coaching the school track team. Her hobbies included her running and cycling, the artistic (and practical!) challenges of renovating her home, and discovering new board games with friends. She was committed to fostering community in her daughter''s schools, at the YMCA, and in Real Church, of which she was an active and longtime member. She will be sorely missed.

Her funeral will be held will be on the 27th of December at Real Church, 5780 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Rd NW, Pickerington, OH 43147 . Visitation hours will be from 3 -5 followed immediately by a service. A buffet dinner will be offered. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations in Jamie''s honor be made to the Buckeye Valley YMCA. OneCause
