Janet S. Childers, age 62, born July 13, 1961 to Mary and Willie Childers in Ironton, OH. and died March 6, 2024. Janet lived in Columbus for the past several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Willie; son, James Fyffe Jr.; sister, Ethel Caldwell; brothers, Richard and Gary Childers; grandson, Ricky Tabler; grandmothers, Hazle Brammer and Matilda Halleck; grandfathers, Josh Halleck and Larence Childers; companion, Eddie Justice. Survived by 4 daughters, Angela Childers, Linda Ziegler (Larry), Mary Tabler and Hazel Childers; son, Frankie Fyffe; 13 grandkids and 4 great grandkids; brother, Frankie Childers; best friend, Nelly Hutchison. Friends may call at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport from 12 noon until time of her funeral at 1 pm on Monday, March 11th. Interment will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester.
