Jerry LeRoy Lewis, age 88, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on August 12, 1938, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Jerry proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He retired from AT&T after a long career as a phone line repairman. He was an avid golfer and golf enthusiast. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joan; children, William (Christine) Lewis and Tammy (Ron) Lee; grandchildren, Sarah Lewis, Kyle Lee, Jacob Lewis, and Kara (Chais) Shockley; great grandson, Benjamin Palmer. Visitation for Jerry will be Friday, October 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4701 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232. Pastor Matthew Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio. Final arrangements entrusted to the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, Groveport, OH.
