In loving memory of Jimmey McGee

Jimmey Otis McGee 56 years old, born December 22, 1969, died suddenly Monday August 3, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Rachael, sons Ian (Carolyn), Adrian and Layne, daughters Brenna and Megan, grandchildren Syre, Cattleya, TJ and Lydia, sister Jennifer, brother Jeff(Jo) many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Jimmey had a deep love for music that was woven throughout his life. He was especially passionate about guitars and could spend hours playing, collecting, learning about, and appreciating all kinds of stringed instruments. Music was more than a hobby-it was one of the ways he expressed himself, often writing songs and finding comfort, joy, and inspiration through every note. Beyond music, Jimmey had a special place in his heart for Mastiff dogs, whose loyal and gentle nature reflected qualities he greatly admired. Whether he had a guitar in his hands, was working on a new song, or was spending time with his dogs, these were the moments that brought him the greatest sense of happiness and contentment.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he found comfort, guidance, and hope in his beliefs. He valued the teachings of the Bible and the hope they offered, and his beliefs remained a meaningful source of peace and encouragement.

In accordance with Jimmey's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. He specifically requested that no special services or ceremonies be held in his honor. His family is grateful for the love, support, and kind thoughts of those who knew him as they remember his life in their own personal ways.
