She was an active member of book clubs and bible study groups and was always happy to spend time with the friends she made in these groups, especially when a nice glass of chardonnay was involved. She shared her husband's love of hockey and for years went to Nationwide Arena as original season ticket holders of the Columbus Bluejackets until frustration with front office management and health issues (caused by frustration with front office management) caused them to relinquish their seats.
