WALLACE Joan L. Wallace, age 74, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011. Preceded in death by mother, Irma Dixon and father, Donald Persinger; former husband, Alonzo Wallace. Survived by children, Beverly Steele, Lonnie (Gay) Wallace and Ronnie Wallace (Mary Burris); grandchildren, Michael, Adam and Jairus Steele; Scott (Rhikki), Craig (Nicole) and Megan Wallace; Michelle Purdue and Kristian Hall; great grandchildren, Mallie, Katie, Lilly and Ethan; brothers, Billy, Ricky & Randy Persinger; numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the O. R. WOODYARD Co. CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street where the funeral service will be Thursday 1 p.m. Reverend Brian Humphrey officiating.
