John F. Akers, age 57 of Groveport, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord May 10, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife Janet Fox-Akers, father Eugene Akers. Survived by his mother, Betty Akers; sister, Jeanny Metz; niece, Julie Boyd; special cousin, Cindy Akers-Birtcher and Hank Birtcher; special buddy, Robert Hill; aunts, cousins and friends. Cremation arrangements by MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME in Groveport. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
