John Roy Anderson, age 54, passed away December 7, 2020. He was born on July 24, 1966 in Columbus, OH to the late John and Janice Anderson. He owned a hauling company and retired after many years in the business. John's favorite hobby was watching television, especially any true crime shows like Forensic Files or Cold Case. He loved spending time with his family and was very protective of them and especially his beloved girlfriend, Mary. He also had a love for hot rods and classic cars. John was known for his sense of humor and ornery, mischievous nature. John always had a smile on his face and his favorite drink, a can of Pepsi, in his hand. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Anderson, daughters, Melissa and Melodie Anderson, father, John Anderson, mother, Janice Anderson, sister, Tina King, aunt, Sandra Jane Anderson Huff, and both sets of grandparents, the Grays and the Andersons. John is survived by his brothers, Bryan and Michael Anderson; sisters, Crystal Anderson and Tresa MaCleod; daughter, Amber (Skyler) Bowen; girlfriend, Mary Jarrell; uncle, Jim Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, other dear friends and family.
