John Robert Gordon, age 93, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully of natural causes, surrounded by his family on May 9, 2026 at StoryPoint Central of Gahanna, Ohio. John was born May 29, 1932 to the late Mary V. Lyons in Cambridge, Ohio.

He joined the Navy during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge, he went to work for Western Electric for over 30 years as an installer. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and spending time at the cabin boating and fishing with his family. John also looked forward to his Canada trips with his card playing buddies.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Lee Gordon; daughter Tracy L. Ward, and son-in-law Bruce Ward, as well as his brother, Ted and sister, Patricia.

John is survived by his children, Jeff (Jill) Gordon, Mark (Donna) Gordon, and Andy (Lynda) Gordon; grandchildren, Shawn (Nici) Brown, Kevin (Abby) Gordon, Austin (Kenna) Gordon, Jeff Gordon, Gina (Ross) Caliendo, Hope (Kyle) Finnell, Nick Gordon, Sara Gordon, and Eve Gordon; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Hailey), Makaylynn, Aedin, Gwyneth, Graham, Benaiah, Mars, and Clifford; and great-great grandchild, Waylon.
