John Wesley O'Connor, age 70, passed away September 15, 2021 at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital. Born March 2, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Bert S. and Dorothy O'Connor. John worked with Bailey's Blacktop for over 35 years. He proudly served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. John was a very caring person, he was a wonderful caretaker for his mother and brothers. John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed time in his garden. Preceded in death by brothers, Albert and Bert O'Connor; brother-in-law, George Bevan; niece, Kathy Wildman and nephew, Robert Todd O'Connor. John is survived by brothers, Harold and Sam O'Connor; sisters, Linda Bevan, Nellie (Ken) Haynes and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 22, at 10:00 am at Union Cemetery. Pastor Bill Henderson officiating.
