John R. Price, age 91, passed away November 27, 2015. Born June 5, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Cora Belle Price. John served in the U.S. Marine Corps. receiving the Purple Heart after being wounded on Okinawa during WWII. John was a Past Master of Grove City Lodge #689 F.&A.M. in 1991, Past High Priest, West Gate Chapter #216, Past Illustrious Master, West Gate Council #129, Past Eminent Commander, Willis Commandery #82, Past Worthy Patron, Grove City Chapter #502, Order of the Eastern Star. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 38 years. He is preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. John is survived by wife, Regina; children, Daniel (Linda) Price, Richard (Sue) Price, Jann (Brian) Moldenhauer, and Judy (Howard) French; grandchildren, Robbie, Jason, Christopher, Andy, Eric, Adam, Michael, Emily, and Allison; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, from 6 to 8 pm at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main St. Groveport, Ohio where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 am.
