John Andrew Walk, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2018. He was born on April 10, 1959 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Temple and Hazel (Fletcher) Walk. John was a selfless individual who would've given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was an avid Browns and Ohio State University fan. Family meant the world to him, and he was always there for them. John was full of aspiration and was always chasing his dreams. The inspiration he sparked in others will carry his legacy. John was also very patriotic and loved his country. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Samuel and Adam, and sister, Slenna "Tina" Wright. John is survived by his wife of 11 loving years, Phetvaly; children, Fred, John (Jennifer), Tina (Darrin), David (Christina), and Erika (Tommy); 10 grandchildren; siblings, Rebekah Blair, William "Mack" (Chestine) Walk, Martha Wright, and Fred L. Walk; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at the O.R.
