John Ward, age 72, passed away at home surrounded by family May 23, 2012. Preceded in death by son, Johnny Ward Jr. and parents, Thurman and Pearl Ward. John is survived by wife of 39 years, Mabel; children, grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters, nieces and nephews and many friends. John served our country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Columbus Enterprise Baptist Church.
