John Lloyd Williams age 71 of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2017. Born March 17, 1946 to his parents, Froy and Sadie Clay Williams in Columbus. John is employed with U.S.. Security, who noted that John had never missed time in over 20 years. He was a proud U. S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Served a Commander of American Legion Southway Post #144 where he was a member of the Colorguard; lifetime member of AMVETS #1312; Volunteer his time and effort with the Chillicothe Veterans Hospital. He is preceded in death by father, Froy Williams; special friend ,Judy McMillen. Survived by his loving mother, Sadie Clay Williams; sister, Edna Williams; nieces, Jayelynn (Jim) Tomlinson, and Angela Herald; special family friend, Christopher Snyder, and many other family and good friends.
