John David Worrix, age 77, passed away March 10, 2012 at his home. John was born October 11, 1934 to the late John and Hettie Coleman Worrix in Millard, KY. Served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the City of Columbus after 25 years and also retired from American Aggregates after 25 years. Preceded in death by brother, Arthur Worrix. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Martha Cutright Worrix. Son, Charles Allen (Darla) Worrix, daughter, Amy (Bob) Davis; grandchildren, Misty (Brent) Elchert, Jaklynna (Joe) Gleissner, Joschua Darst, Marissa Worrix, Rachael Davis, Bryan Davis; great grandchildren, Hope, Faith, and Landen Elchert, Kayla Davis; brothers, William (Thelma), Harold (Patricia), Bobby (Bev), Lonnie and Bradley (Nora) Worrix; sisters, Betty Pierce, Lola Varney, Thursie (Jim) Bates, Evelyn Worrix, Alice (Mike) Richardson, Leann (Dan) Ewald, Loretta (Dave) Bradley.
