Joseph H. Hatfield, 65, of Baltimore, Ohio, went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on July 25,

2025, after a courageous seven-year battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Joe was born on May 24, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Joe was the heart of his family. He was especially

dedicated to the Lord and through his strong faith in Christ, who guided the wonderful staff at

The Ohio State University, The James Cancer Hospital, he was able to live years beyond expectancy of this disease.

Joe was known for his generosity, his quick wit, and his ability to make anyone smile and laugh.

Joe was a master electrician by trade and always willing to lend a hand to his family, neighbors

and community. He also loved his country deeply and lived his life with a strong sense of

patriotism.Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Helen (Stump) and Jack Hatfield; mother and father-in-law, Jerry & Donna (Susie) Martin; and brother-in-law, Michael Martin. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Susan L. Hatfield; his three children, Joe Hatfield, Lola (Bob) Koontz, and Amanda Hatfield; and his nine cherished grandchildren: Cooper, Aidan, Layla, Joey,

Charlotte, Abbie, Aaron, Bobbi, and Ella. He also leaves behind his brother John (Jennie) White,

along with several nieces and nephews and beloved family friends, Linda Prince and Brian Householder.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31, at the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, 587

Main Street, Groveport, OH 43125. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the service

following at 11:00 a.m. Pastor BJ VanAman officiating, Joe will be laid to rest at Africa Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio. All

who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. Joe's dedication to the Lord and legacy of love, laughter, and service will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
