Joseph E Kirwan, Jr. was born September 20, 1938 in Buffalo NY, to the late Joseph E. Kirwan and Gertrude R (Gessner) Kirwan. Joseph has been married for 56 years to the love of his life, Charlene Kirwan. We will remember his love for the Lord, his love for his family, how kind and gentle he was, and how he enjoyed being outdoors with nature in his garden. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Ann Adams. He is survived by daughters, Cathy Jo (Jim) Fisher and Simanette (Troy) Poulton; sister, Dorothy Kirwin; nephew, Michael J. Griffis; three grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, as well as additional family and friends. Friends and family may call on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel. 1346 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207, where his funeral ceremony will be on Friday, December 22, 2023 starting at 2:00 PM.
