Joseph Aaron Melfe was born February 17, 1980 and left this world suddenly February 23, 2021. He loved and was loved deeply by his family and is survived by his loving mother and father, Donna and Todd Melfe; his brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Shannon Melfe; his nephews, Asher and Ezra and his sister, Rachel Melfe. But as anyone would attest his pride and joy, the love of his life, was his son, Caleb. There was never a more devoted and loving father than Joe. Caleb and he had many funny adventures (like going to the last McDonalds that had pizza) and shared many hobbies together like love of arcades, Mario games, guitars, random thrift store items, and ridiculous jokes. Joe and Heather were to marry on March 07, 2021 but we didn't quite make it. When my mother's health declined abruptly in 2020 we both knew there was no other person we wanted to be with for better or worse, richer, poorer- til death. I am honored and proud to be his wife. I am fortunate that I was there beside him as his days ended. We all would like to extend our gratitude for your kind words and thoughts. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, from 5 to 7 pm at O. R. Woodyard Northwest Chapel 2990 Bethel Rd. A private service will be available to view later.
