Joseph Peter Sardella, age 81, passed away on June 18, 2024, at The Laurels of Norworth in Worthington, Ohio. Joseph was born July 23, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Sardella Sr.; and his brother, John Sardella Jr. He is survived by his two sons, Kevin Sardella and Joseph Sardella Jr. Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps from 1960-1966, during the Vietnam War. Ranks include Private and Lance Corporal. He then served in the Marine Corps Reserve. Joseph was awarded the Good Conduct Metal and the M-14 Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 581 Mt. Calvary Avenue, in Columbus, OH at 1 p.m.
