Obituary for Joyce Bailey: Joyce Ann Bailey, age 59, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Preceded in death by Mother Patricia Jones and brother Brian McLain. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Bassel Bailey, children Michelle Price, Melissa Williams of Columbus, Eric (Danielle) Bailey of Mt. Gilead, bonus children Courtney (Kelly) Bailey and Amy (J.D.) Steinman, Grandchildren Haleigh Smith, Nicholas and Cheyanne Price, Kenny, A.J., and Braydon Powell, Miles, Gabrielle, and Austin Bailey, Tori Hoffman, Dalton, and Hunter Williams and four great grandchildren. Father, James Jones, Siblings: Cheryl (Wayne) Scarberry, Mark McLain, Lisa (Gerald) Writesel, and Becky (Jim) Roe. Many nieces and nephews. Joyce loved her family with all her might, her children were her life and she loved being a mother most of all. But her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She absolutely loved it when new babies were born into the family and was known as the "baby hog" because she loved the hugs, kisses, and snuggles of a new life. Joyce was also a clean connoisseur, her house was her castle and you never noticed her home unorganized, dirty, or dusty. She even gave Mr. Clean a run for his money. The visitation for Joyce will be on Thursday, April 18th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, service will begin at 1:00 p.m. O.R. Woodyard Co. South High Street Chapel. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh 43207.
