Joyce E. Weaver, age 79, went home to be with our Lord on June 24th, 2024. Joyce was born on November 16th, 1944 in Columbus, OH to the late Thomas and Mary Weaver. Preceded in death by her son, Tony Lee May; brother, Thomas Weaver (Arlene) and her sister, Nancy Woods (Gary). Survived by her sister, Terri; children, Michele, David (Hazel "Peanut"), Beth (Mark) and Billy; 11 grandchildren, Amanda, Maria, Seth, Josh, Kyle, Heather, Amy, Elaina, Makenna, Maci, and Will; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a beautician for many years and retired from Kroger Columbus Bakery Office. Joyce was known and admired for her compassion for others, her witty sense of humor and her love for animals.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respect during visitation hours on Friday, June 28th from 5-8 pm at the O. R. Woodyard Company Chapel 1346 S. High Street Columbus, OH 43207. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29th at 11 am at the Friendly Freewill Baptist Church 2516 Rhoads Ave. Columbus, OH 43207. Pastor Mike Blanton officiating. Graveside service will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
