Judith "Judy" Lynn Shortridge, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2022. She was born on August 24, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to Clifford R. and Elaine Messenger. Judy was a very loving and giving person. Judy is preceded in death by her father; brother in law, Larry Shortridge; and Nero Walker. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Steve Shortridge; her mother, Elaine Messenger; brothers: Clifford (Beverly) Messenger, Dale (Theresa) Messenger, and Jon (Pam) Messenger; sister in law, Lorraine Boyer; nieces and nephews: Megan (Spencer) Bennett, Jared (Sarah) Messenger, Matt Messenger, Katelyn (Roger) Ireland, Taylor Messenger, Allison, Bethany, Justin Shortridge, and Heather Shortridge; as well as great nieces, Charlotte, Emery, Nora, Heidi, Bella, Savannah, and Charlotte. A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at JP's BBQ Bolton Field at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Abundant Life NALC/YWCA Family Center, P.O.
