Julia A. Heiser, age 74, of Bexley, OH passed away April 4, 2014. She was born May 10, 1939 to the late Arthur and Anna Grace Eckelberry in Canton, OH. Graduated from Canton Timken High School 1957. Retired from Columbus Public Schools. A longtime and active member of The Bexley United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her sister Cathy Eckelberry, brother Arthur Eckelberry Jr. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dale Heiser of the residence.; daughters, Lori (Cord) Reeves of Bexley, Lisa (Bill) Chappel of Columbus; son, Larry (Kate Lodge) Heiser of South Euclid, Oh; grandchildren, Cord (Emily) Reeves, Chip Reeves, Allison Heiser, and Evan Heiser; sisters, Wanda (Wayne) Stiner, Ellen (Carl) Zindl, Debbie (Ken) Williams; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call at WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. Livingston Ave. Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at The Bexley United Methodist Church, where immediately following the service there will be a lunch served.
