Karen Elizabeth Rose, age 78, passed away Sunday December 8, 2024, at the Pickering House. Karen was born on October 29, 1946, in Carrollton, Ohio to the late Jay and Helen Myers. Karen is preceded in death by her Parents, Jay and Helen Myers; brother, John Myers; sister, Therese Howard; and brother-in-law, Tom Gill. She is survived by her husband, Ed Rose of 20 years, daughter, Stephanie (Travis) Peterman; son, Ronald (Terianna) DiFrancesco; and daughter, Heidi Rose; grandchildren, Helen (Clay) Mills, Blayne (Mary) Peterman, Nick (Allee) Staufer, Brennan (Athena) Peterman, and Brooke Peterman; great granddaughter, Lily Mills; many nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend Cynthia Ancil and her family who Karen always considered her extended family. She enjoyed traveling, visiting the casinos, family gatherings, the OSU Buckeyes, any evening that included setting on the back deck, and especially her motorcycle trips out west. Visitation for Karen will be Saturday December 21, 2024, at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main St. Groveport, Oh. 43125 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 Noon.
