Katherine Lorraine Smith (Speck), age 85, sadly passed away on December 2, 2025. Kathe was born April 28, 1940 to the late Charles W. & Emma P. Speck (Kidder).

Kathe worked for Buckeye Union Insurance, Continental Insurance, Walmart as a retail associate and volunteered at Blacklick Woods Park. She loved taking her 1977 Ford Thunderbird to car shows.

In addition to her parents; Kathe is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Smith of 47 years; brothers, Paul, Calvin, Herman, Raymond, Ralph and David; sisters, Lucy and Opal; She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; She was loved by all who knew her. Rest in Peace.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 am on Friday, December 12 at the funeral home, with calling hours from 10:00 am until the time of service, with Pastor Michael Brue officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio (across from Mt. Carmel East Hospital).
