Kathleen "Kitty" Mitchell, age 84, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 in Columbus, OH. She was born July 22, 1940 in Columbus, OH to the late Herbert and Rita Grassle. Kitty was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 50 years, Franklin D. Mitchell; daughters, Lisa Bowe and Dianna Jenkins; granddaughter, Megan Courtright; siblings, Patricia Blaine, Eileen Campbell, and Herbert Grassle Jr. Kitty is survived by her son, William F. Mitchell; grandchildren, Douglas Mitchell, Kimberly Kenney, and Kayla Bowe; great grandchildren, Austin, Cheyenne, David, Mason, Sebastian, Savannah, Charles, Destiny, Kitty, and Sara; siblings, Martha Logan, Jack Grassle, and Thomas Grassle; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
