Kathleen (Kay) Watkins, age 92 of Dublin, Ohio passed away May 6, 2018. She was a master gardener and a long-time member of the Franklin Garden Club. For many years she was a docent at the Columbus Museum of Art, served on the Women's Board and enjoyed membership in Docent Alums. Kay was born in North Lake, NB, Canada to Pearl and Wesley Kinney. When she was a child, they moved to Houlton, Maine, where she graduated from Houlton High School in the class of 1943. She graduated from Boston University with a BS in 1947. While visiting NYC, she met a handsome naval Lt. C. Donald Watkins whom she married and moved to Columbus, Ohio. The two enjoyed extensive traveling. She is survived by their three children: Pamela Mullarkey Ryan, Patricia Tabit (George), and Penelope Watkins (Stephen Ahern). Family and friends may gather Tuesday, May 15 from 10:30 am until the time of memorial service at 11:30 am at O. R. Woodyard Northwest Chapel 2990 Bethel Rd.
