Kenneth R. Baldwin, age 89, passed away June 10, 2012 after a brief illness. Ken was a U.S. Army and Air Force Veteran of WWII serving from 1942 until 1949 as staff sergeant and a crew leader. He was retired from Columbus Public Schools, Finacial Accounting Department. After his retirement Ken was a greeter and employed with Woodyard East Chapel, Funeral Home. He was a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Born August 2, 1922 to the late Thomas and Nannie Pearl (Blake) Baldwin in Lawrence, Ohio. Ken was preceded in death by his wife Wanda. Survived by sister-in-law, Helen Griffith; niece, Janet Kingery of Chesapeake, Ohio; and great niece, Ronda Kingery; nephew, Stephen Kingery. Ken's neighbors and friends, especially Bob and Fanny Looney, and Robert Strickland. Friends may call at WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E.
