Kentin "Kenny" Dale Marcum, age 67, loving and generous husband, father and grandfather, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus, November 12, 2013. Born September 8, 1946 in Kermit, WV to the late Henry and Nilene Marcum. Retired after 26 years of service from the US Postal Service. Enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and spending time with his family. Member of the Church Triumphant. Three time award-winning foster family of the year throughout a 37 year period in which he, along with his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Beverly, fostered over 170 children. Also survived by son, Kentin Deon Marcum; daughter, Stephanie (Tim) Phillips; grandchildren, Corey, Haley and Abigail Phillips, Kourtney and Emily Marcum; sister-in-law, Judy Marcum; sisters, Henrietta Marcum, Brenda (Mike) Howard; brothers, Greg and Tim (Chris) Marcum; many nieces and nephews that held a special place in his heart; lifetime friends, Roy "Sam" McDaniel; loving canine companions, Max and Sally.
