Kevin Michael "Mike" Phillips, 66, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2025, after a long illness. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Phillips; his sister, Delilah Ann "Dee" Howard; his niece, Brittany Senft; his uncle, Clarence Phillips; his aunt, Crystal Phillips; and his cousins, Clancy Phillips and Amy Phillips.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Fran Phillips; his devoted wife, Sherry Phillips; his brother, David Allen Phillips; his sister, Sheri Senft; his son, Shawn Phillips; his daughter, Samantha Ruth "Sammi" Phillips; his stepdaughters, Samantha "Sami" Morgan and Sarah Arnold; his grandchildren, Nolan Altizer, Jeremiah Arnold, and Reina Arnold; his Aunt Sandy Phillips and Uncle Richard Phillips; cousins Carrie Phillips and Gary Phillips; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless lifelong friends.

Mike worked in maintenance until his illness, but his love of fixing and repairing things never left him. He was raised in the Baptist Church and carried his faith throughout his life. A devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, Mike rarely missed a chance to cheer on his teams. Music was one of his greatest passions—he played in several bands over the years, but most of all he cherished the times he spent playing his guitar.

Mike will be remembered for his devotion to family, his hands that could mend almost anything, and the music he carried in his heart.

Visitation for Mike will be Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
