LaKescha Danielle Marbury, born April 29, 1982, in Pataskala, Ohio, was a woman whose life was rooted in love, resilience, and quiet strength. She was the cherished daughter of Steve and Phyllis Marbury, and throughout her life, she remained deeply connected to her family, whom she loved with her whole heart. '

LaKescha was a proud graduate of Licking Heights High School in Summit Station, Ohio, class of 2000. During her school years, she also attended the Joint Vocational School (JVS), where she discovered her passion for horticulture. She had a natural gift for nurturing beauty, especially through flowers, which brought her both peace and joy and reflected her gentle and caring nature.

In 2016, LaKescha took a bold step and earned her CDL, embarking on a career in trucking. She became an owner-operator, sharing a special bond and passion for the road with her father. Her determination and independence were evident in the way she built her path, embracing both the challenges and rewards of her work with strength and pride.

Above all, LaKescha was a loving daughter, devoted mother, and proud grandmother. Her family was the center of her world. She was also a caring sister and a beloved aunt, always present with warmth, guidance, and unconditional love. Her presence was a steady source of comfort and strength to those who knew her.

LaKescha was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and her faith played an important role in her life, guiding her values and giving her hope and peace.

She is Preceeded in death by her brother-in-law Kinte Aaron Jones. Survived by her children, Yeshyia (Tyler) Marbury and Annyston Marbury-Taylor; her grandson, Hendryx Marbury; her parents, Steve and Phyllis Marbury; her siblings, Jennifer Jones, Steve Marbury, and Heleshia (Haruna) Marbury; her niece, Stevie Marbury-Campbell; and her nephew, Talmadge Haruna; And Best friends Jerica(Troy) Myers, Alquan Thomas and Matt Stout.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, her love for her family, and the beauty she brought into the lives of others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Visitation will be held Monday May 4th from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Pfeifer-Woodyard Funeral Home 7915 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
