Launita Carr, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2021. She was born on July 28, 1933 in Carter County, KY to the late Chester and Minnie (James) Baker. She worked as a seamstress for nearly 20 years at R G Berry. Launita is survived by her husband, Hubert Carr; sons, Robert Eugene (Darlene) Collier, Roy Alfred (Dobbie) Collier, Roger Dale Collier, Michael Ray (Liz) Collier, and Steven Randall Collier; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Gary Lee Baker; sister, Betty Jo Gallion; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 5 until time of service at 7 PM at the O. R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 South High St. Pastor Jim Holbrook officiating.
