Lauren Alexis Sampson of Reynoldsburg, OH passed away suddenly of natural causes on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Lauren is survived by her husband Travis Napper (mother-in-law Susan Napper), mother and father, Stacey and Tom Sampson; grandparents, Patricia and Michael Stansbery; aunt and uncle, Kimberlee and Stephen Stansbery, and uncles, Jeff and Bill Sampson; and several cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents Lane and Jane Sampson.

Lauren was born on February 16, 1996, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Reynoldsburg High School Summit Campus and was a frequent volunteer at the Nationwide Children's Hospital. Lauren was a huge fan of Central Ohio sports including the Columbus Blue Jackets and OSU Buckeyes. She found her own adventure through the Adaptive Sports Connection, participating in a variety of activities including bicycling, bowling, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, sky diving, and scuba diving. Lauren also contributed throughout her life in support of the Central Ohio Spina Bifida Alliance (COSBA). Lauren is remembered by a vast network of close friends, all of which were present in her life's many activities.

Lauren will be remembered as a beautiful young lady with a smile, laugh, and thoughtfulness that brought joy to us all. She will be missed by many . A celebration of Lauren's life will be held at Pfeifer-Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH, 43068 on Tuesday, February 3 with an open reception 4pm-6pm and formal service beginning at 6pm. An informal gathering will occur afterwards at an off-site location (details will follow). Guests are encouraged to dress as Lauren would have preferred: bright colors, Bluejackets, and Buckeyes jerseys.
