On February 4, 2026, our loving mother, Lavonne M. Howard, passed away after a long illness. She was born on June 28, 1943 to the late Dolly Floyd and Dawson Minnehan in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon D. Howard and son, Gordon D. Howard, Jr. She is survived by her children, Wanda McCluskey, Sherine (Joe) Ricciardi, Tamara (Scott) Nixon; grandchildren Meg Wickham, Jerrod (Dayna) Workman, Ryan (Bailey) Workman, Katie (Caleb) Loesch. Her many great grandchildren include, Harlow, James, Lennon, Ezra, John, Joe, Jacob, Laynie, Eli and Michael. She is also survived by her siblings Shirley McFann and Arthur Minnehan as well as many surviving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 1:00 p.m. at O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, OH 43207. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the staff of Bath Estates Rehabilitation and to Dr. Nazir Nader and staff of the CCU of Western Reserve Hospital for the amazing care rendered to our mother.
