Lawrence V. "Gabby" Gloyd Sr. , age 81, passed away at home June 17, 2015 with family at his side. Served in Military - Army for 2 years at Fort Knox, Ky in the Tankard Division. Worked at Owens-Illinois (Kimbles) for 24 years and then went to General Motors where he retired in 1995. A member of Reese CCCU Church. Survived by wife, Lenora Gloyd; son, Lawrence "Larry" Vernon (Marie) Gloyd Jr.; daughter, Charolette "Shark" (James) Kessler; grandkids, Amy (Will) Hannan, Jeremy Gloyd; great grandsons, little Jeremy, Brandon, and Michael; sisters, Barbara (Art) Conley and Patty (Mel) Bowen; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
