Lester Kirk, age 90, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2021. Lester was born in Jobe, Kentucky to Henry and Marinda (Herald) Kirk on June 13, 1930. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Lester is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 64 years, Elsie; brothers, Lucian, Floyd, Andy, James and Cecil Kirk; sisters, Opal Kirk, Bertha Marcum, Ethel Fannin, Laura Dillon, Hazel Kirk and Viva Smith. Lester was a very special uncle to many, words can never express the joy he brought and kindness he showed to so many. His life is a gift that will last all of our lives and he will be sadly missed. He is survived by nieces, Rhonda (William) Dillon, Janet (David) Dupler, Linda (Kenny) Queen; nephew, Rob (Karen) Kirk along with numerous special nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Visitation will be at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport, Ohio 43125 on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 11 am until time of the service at 1 pm. Pastor Aaron Dillon officiating.
