Lillian M. Neal, age 98, passed away May 19, 2014 in her sleep after a brief illness. A loving devoted mother and grandmother. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. Lillian always had a youthful and independent spirit; after all she got her driver's license at age 65 and didn't give it up until she was 96. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harlan; daughter, Joyce Ridenour; and son-in-law, TJ Bentz. She is survived by daughters, Delores (James) Taylor of Alexandria, VA, Karen Carlisle Bentz of Powell, OH, Brenda (Jerry) Watson of Westerville, OH, Judy (David) McConnell of Douglasville, GA, Harlan Neal Jr. of Columbus, and Connie Neal of Vesuvius, VA; son,; son-in-law Gerald Ridenour of Hilliard; grandchildren, Annette Kullberg, Evan Behrendt Jr., Rick (Mary Ann) and Victor (Leslie) Carlisle, Jeff (Pia) Taylor, Christine (Jay) VonCannon, Emily (Jamie) Dupree, Brad and Amy Watson, Sean and Kevin McConnell and Eileen (Jason) Bundy; 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at O. R. WOODYARD CO NORTHWEST CHAPEL 2990 Bethel Rd. Funeral service will be Friday at 11 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 222 Schoolhouse Ln. Rev. Kim Trimboli officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
