Linda K. Applegate, age 73, of Sugar Grove, Ohio, passed away March 25, 2024 at her home. She was born March 14, 1951, to her parents, the late Elmer and Bonnie VanHoose in Columbus, Ohio. Linda graduated from Hocking College with a Nursing Degree and helped many people in her career. She later worked helping Alzheimer's patients. She enjoyed her pets and raised goats. She liked fishing and being outdoors. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Frank Applegate; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Bobbie Applegate IV; daughter, Kimberly Applegate; grandchildren, Quintin and Alexander; sisters, Mary Blankenship, Bonnie Tolliver, and Paula Caldwell; many nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. Preceded in death by sisters, Carol (Gene) Stewart and Rita VanHoose. Visitation will be held at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 6 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 305 Elm St. Sugar Grove, Ohio, 43155. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, Ohio.
