Linda Faye Byers, age 70, passed away on April 19, 2021. She was born in Adel, GA. on November 28, 1950. Retired from SP Richards for over 30 years. Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years: John Edward Byers; her parents Jarmon and Joyce Whitehurst; parent-in-laws Gilbert and Ruth Byers Sr., stepmother-in-law, Wanda Byers; step-son, Scottie Byers; brother, Freddy Whitehurst; brothers-in-law, Rex Byers, Harold Stewart, and Ray Thompson. Linda is survived by sons, Barry (Cathy) and Brian (Sandy) Byers, as well as daughter-in-law, Michelle Byers; grandchildren, Georgia, Ashley, Brandon, and Bradley Byers; brothers-in-law: Gilbert (Phyllis) Byers Jr., Phillip (Terry) Byers and Ray Byers; sister-in-laws: Ruth Thompson, Joan Stewart, and Dianna (Roger) Kelley. Linda is also survived by niece, Jennifer Quick Whitehurst, (daughter: Kaylee), many other nieces and nephews, as well as family members and dear friends. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at the O. R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 South High St., where the funeral will be on Wednesday at 11 AM.
