Linda Lou
Edmundson
Sep 5, 1943 — Mar 4, 2024
Grandma Linda passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024, she was just 80 years old. Linda's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Linda was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life, like the time we went camping at Indian Lake and the storms were so heavy that we had to sleep in the car because the tent had collapsed from the rain or the time we went on a cruise and grandma decided to treat herself to a spa day without letting anyone know that she had gone and spent almost $200. She was a master bear collector, avid plastic canvas creator and an amazing baker and gardener. When Linda wasn't working, she could be found with a plastic canvas in her hand, creating a new and beautiful creation. Not a day went by where Linda didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her. Her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. She was also a dedicated member of the American Legion and the 40&8 organization. She retired from Target after 25 years of service. Linda is survived by her daughters, Diana Edmundson,Mary (Jeff) Curry, and Elaine Mcsurley; son, John (Lisa) Edmundson; sisters, Diana Crum, Brenda (Dale) Vallette; grandchildren, Lindzi and C.J Kitt, Austin, Hailie and Hunter Curry, Daniel and Mason Hazzard; great grandchild, Violet; many other relatives and friends.
