Linda Lee Leist was peacefully sent from this earth on August 12, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Linda was a woman of incredible strength, fight, and determination. Throughout her life, she faced challenges with courage that never stopped inspiring the people who loved her. She fought hard, held on with everything she had, and never gave up easily even till the end. Her strength was a true reflection of the fierce love she had for her family.

Linda loved her family deeply. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was married to the love of her life for 60 years, a bond that stood as a testament to unwavering commitment and true, enduring love. Together they built a life filled with laughter, faith, and countless memories that became the foundation of their family. In her later years, he became her constant caregiver, tending to her needs with patience, gentleness, and a devotion that never wavered. He never left her side. His love for her was unconditional, steady, loyal, and strong, reflecting the kind of partnership many only dream of. Their marriage was not just long; it was deeply lived, deeply loved, and beautifully shared.

Linda also held a special place in her heart for her sons-in-law. She loved them as her own and was grateful for the love, friendship, and family they brought into her life. They were not simply her daughters' husbands, they became an important part of her family, and she cherished the bond they shared. Her love for them was genuine, unconditional, and forever.

One of Linda's greatest joys was simply being with her family. She was blessed to become a grandmother and later a great-grandmother, a role she treasured as one of God's sweetest gifts. Every little miracle she was given to hold close, every milestone shared, every moment gathered around her felt like a prayer answered. She saw her family as a living testament to love, grace, and the quiet blessings that unfold over a lifetime. Her family was her greatest pride and her greatest love, the cherished circle that grounded her, and filled her spirit with joy.

Linda also had a special gift for creating beautiful flower arrangements for her church. Her flowers were truly out of this world and reflected the beauty, care, and love she put into everything she did.

Linda's life was defined by love, strength, determination, and family. She fought hard until the end, surrounded by the people she loved most.

Now, Linda has become a butterfly. Her earthly struggles are over, and her wings are finally free. When a butterfly gently crosses your path, may you think of Linda and remember that her love never truly left. She will be there in the flowers she loved, in the memories she created, and in the hearts of every person she loved so deeply.

Though her wings have carried her to a new place, Linda's love will remain forever. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always loved.

And now, Triple L carries a new meaning — Live Like Linda . Live every moment to the fullest. Never take anything for granted. Be courageous, be kind, be strong. Love your family endlessly. And remember to win big — just as she did, finding joy, excitement, and a spark of fun in the moments that made her smile.

Celebration of Life

Please join the family in celebrating Linda's life on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church 133 W S St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110

Lunch will be provided. Linda has asked that you wear bright color clothes to help celebrate her life and passion for doing things a little different.

Linda had a special love for her caregivers. She welcomed them with the same warmth she gave her family, and their kindness and care became a true blessing in her life. To her, they weren't just caregivers — they were family.
