Lloyd Emmett Rankin Sr., age 84, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Doctor's West Hospital. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Retired from Anderson Concrete with over 30 years of service. Preceded in death by wife of 61 years, Pauline Rankin; parents, Emmett and Blanche Rankin; sisters, Phyllis and Marilyn; stepbrother, Jack. Survived by children, Lloyd (Rea) Rankin Jr., Connie (Mark) Amburgey, Julie (Mark) Wells, and John Rankin; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Lowell Rankin; sister Twila Miller; stepbrother, Harold (Myra) McGee.
