Lois Laffon (Cox) Rowe, age 90, passed away on April 8, 2025, in Dublin, Ohio, with family members by her side. Lois was born on March 23, 1935, in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of Ernest and Audrey Cox. Although she did not graduate from Logan High School, she later earned her GED. In May 1954, Lois married Ezekiel (Zeke) Young in Columbus, Indiana. They were married for 38 years until Zeke passed away in August 1992.

Lois was a successful real estate agent for many years, both in Ohio and Florida. She loved living in Florida, where her favorite pastimes included spending time at the beach, deep-sea fishing, and painting. What made Lois most happy was being a mother to her four boys. As they grew up, she was always involved in their school activities and social events such as Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, camping, and sports. She was at the Grandview Heights swimming pool with them every summer of their years at home. Later, she devoted her time and love to her many grandchildren. Lois's brother Larry Cox and her sons Bill Young, Mark Young, and Mike Young remain to cherish her memory. Her family includes sister-in-law Linda Cox and two daughters-in-law, Geli Young and Cindy Young. Her grandchildren are Olivia Young, Rachel Young, Chris Young, Michelle (Young) Mock, Jeffrey Young, Adrian Young, and AJ (Young) Mata. Her great-grandchildren are Ethan Mock, Owen Mock, Zony Mata, and Niaina Mata. Lois is preceded in death by her son Steven Young; her three husbands Zeke Young, Dick Garman, and Clyde Rowe; her sister Retha Gresham, and her brother Jim Cox. A memorial ceremony and the interment will be held at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio, 43119, beginning Saturday, April 12th at 11 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel.
