Lorah Allen Fox, age 91 of Lithopolis, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born September 18, 1922, to the late Martha and Joseph Fox in Victor, West Virginia. Lorah was a proud WWII Army Air Corp veteran and retired from Federal Glass and Anchor Hocking. He was a 50 year member of Lithopolis Methodist Church. Lorah loved God, family and friends. Preceded in death by siblings Elmer Sherman Russell Edith and Eva. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Alice; and their children, Richard (Susan) of Granite Bay, CA. Sharon (John) Murphy of Lithopolis, Brenda (Kirk) Boganwright of Hilliard and Dennis (Christine) of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Kenny (Rachel), Andy (Chrissy), Scotty and Danny (Jessica) Murphy, Megan and Devin Fox, Sydney and Alex Fox, Kyle, Kerry and Amy Boganwright; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Sarah, Christian and his namesake, Lorah Murphy; Lorah's faithful dog, Major; special niece, Karen Cochran; and loving nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, Groveport, Oh. 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Lithopolis Methodist Church on Market St. in Lithopolis, Ohio.
