Loretta J. Hale, age 86, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 in Grove City, Ohio. Loretta was born January 17, 1938, in Columbus, OH to the late Oscar and Mildred Rhinehart. Loretta loved OSU Football and attended many Sprint Car races and enjoyed watching NFL Football. Loretta is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul E. Hale Jr.; grandson, Frank E. Moore Jr.; great grandchildren, Everett Lee Ebright and Kylie Cheyenne Fields; brothers, Charles Rhinehart and Thomas Rhinehart; and sister, Naomi Bowman. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (James) Sturgill, Peggy (William) Fields, Mary (Ronald) Moore, and Teresa (Frank Sr.) Moore; 8 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Rhinehart-Dunn and Elmira Rhinehart-McGoon; brother-in-law, Mike Hale; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St. in Groveport, OH. Pastor Ben York will officiate. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
