Lori L. "Short" Spears, 54 of Columbus, Ohio, died April 17, 2017. Born October 29, 1962 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents, Stephan "Oscar" Spears and Doris (Fetty) Spears, two sisters LuAnn Spears and Hazel Wells and two brothers Jeffrey and Stephan L. "Squeek" Spears. Survived by daughter, Myleigh Joy Chastain; beloved of 21 years, Herb Chastain; sister, Angie (Rich) Uscio of Rayland, Ohio; brother-in-law, Keith "Harpo" Wells of Tiltonsville; nephews, Brian, Brad Wells and Stephan Spears; other family members, Gay Smith, Jonda (Tony) Hackney, Todd Chastain, Heather Penix, Brittany (Curtis) Orr, Luke and Courtney Hackney, Kailyn Chastain and Kasen Orr, the only one allowed to call her grandma. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, from 3 pm until the time of service at 7 pm at the O.R. WOODYARD CO CHAPEL 1346 S. High St.
